Knoxville Sucks Just a Little Bit Less

We’re getting an Apple Store! Okay, perhaps that’s a bit harsh, but the cool news is that the Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that we’re getting an Apple store in West Town Mall. No word yet if it’s going to be a full size store or one of the mini stores. I suspect that the local Mac dealer (MCS) can’t be too happy about this. (And yes, I realize we’re not going to be getting an Apple Store as cool as the one in the picture, but I took this at the New York SOHO Store back in 2003 and it was convenient to hand).

Nah dude, Knoxville still sucks. It would be better if they located the store somewhere away from the abomination that is West Town Mall. That area of town doesn’t need to be anymore crowded.
Both Knoxville and Nashville should really be hating on Memphis. They’ve had their Apple store for years. Now that’s a crime.

Knoxville’s fine… just some retard’s postings that suck. Can’t fault Apple for choosing the logical retail hotspot on K-town… I’m just glad that it’s finally here… now CompUSA? They suck…ass!

Nice scoop! I’m totally surprised. I was waiting to see one pop up at Turkey Creek - the new section… but wow, could that development be any more lame? I guess the mall’s as good as any spot here.

There is already a cool apple store on N Broadway. Seriosly people .. get out of the damn west knox suburbs every now and then.
